The D&L in Easton gets a spring clean with the help of volunteers

The Morning Call – Earth Day may be more than a week away, but that didn’t stop good Samaritans from rolling up their sleeves, getting their hands dirty and sprucing up parks, playgrounds and trails throughout the Lehigh Valley and the state on Saturday. At Easton’s Hugh Moore Park, home of the National Canal Museum and Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Trail, more than 75 volunteers spent the morning picking up trash and making other improvements to the park and its neighboring Lehigh Drive’s roadside.
