New Eagles: Westmoreland County sisters join their triplet brother in top Scout honor

Pittsburgh Post Gazette -Two years ago, triplets Elizabeth and Hannah Yothers watched their brother, Matthew, become an Eagle Scout. In February, they joined him, becoming the first girls in the Pittsburgh region to earn the Eagle Scout designation. The Yothers sisters, 19, of Unity in Westmoreland County, are two of nearly 1,000 girls and women nationwide inducted last month in the first class of female Eagle Scouts. “It feels great,” Hannah said. “I’ve done things I never thought I would do.”
