Groups collaborate on fruit tree planting at Hancock School

The Times Herald -NORRISTOWN  — You probably wouldn’t want to do much planting in the pouring rain, but for nonprofit Fruit Tree Planting Foundation it’s all in a day’s work. Equipped with apple trees, pear trees, peach trees, plum trees, even a paw paw tree — a tropical fruit native to Pennsylvania, according to the foundation — plus aronia and blueberry bushes, the organization joined its partners in the Vitafusion Fruit Tree Project at Hancock Elementary School on Friday
