Swamp Road Residences again cleaned up the portion of Swamp Road in Wrightstown, PA between Rushland and Worthington Mill Road on May 7th. The road clean up was followed by a campaign brunch at Ken and June Cook’s home in which participating neighbors each contributed a platter of goodies. “At the brunch, some neighbors mentioned that this is the only time of year some of us see each other! We had fun and we lucked out with perfect spring weather,” commented June Cook.

Participants this round included: Dan Comisky, Ken and June Cook and daughter Maria, Sherry and Pat Dickert, Ken and Pat Saunders, Chris Waslenko, Kelly and Olivia Citara. Nancy Shill helped with phone calls and emails to organize crew and Erin McDermott, who is six months pregnant was a “runner” – transporting participants and materials during the clean-up. She was deemed the “trooper of the neighborhood!”
